  Badgers
Badgers and their setts are protected by UK law.

It is an offence to harm a badger or to recklessly interfere with a badger sett, which includes disturbing the animals whilst the sett is in use, or obstructing access to the sett.

English Nature classifies disturbance as works within 30m of an active sett and a licence is required for certain activities within this distance. Appropriate mitigation measures include buffer zones, construction of permanent barrier or artificial setts.

We are able to undertake all aspects of badger survey, including site investigation, territory mapping, exclusion and supervised sett closure, as well as artificial sett construction.
